I find having a lot of supportive MFP friends keeps me motivated, reading friend's activities and daily posts keeps my motivation levels high0

To get a different result, you need to change your approach. To lose weight, you need to eat less (and move more). That is something you do yourself. Motivation is fleeting. A good plan is a plan that not only works if you stick to it, but one you can stick to, too.1
