Putting photos on posts?

Maybe I'm just being really stupid but how do you attach photos to your posts and blog entries?!?

I haven't been able to post pics either! I think it has to be hosted someplace and then you attach a link but not sure. If you do a search I am sure someone somewhere has posted the procedure on this site.

It's very confusing and you are not stupid, you need to create account somewhere else, it's very annoying

There's a tutorial with pictures at the top of the success stories board (I think). I followed that it it worked fine.
