Today i just feel fat, bloated, sore and gross.

Maybe i am not doing as good of a job as i thought i was.
Can someone please take a look at my food logs.. ?

Yesterday and today for some reason my stomach just feels heavy.
Ive not been sleeping good, and i guess im just sore from excersize.
Would really appreciate some comments.

You're not tracking sodium or water. I know that too much sodium/not enough water is usually the culprit when I'm feeling bloated.

Ur calorie count is great. I would be sure to eat heavier in the morning and lighter at dinner. More fruits n veggies too. Be sure to drink a lot of water all day. It relieves muscle tightness. Dehydration creates fatigue. Lastly, stretch ur body five minutes a day at least. Good luck. U are very pretty by the way!
  • Hello my love, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling pretty crappy.

I'm no expert, far from it, but maybe you're not drinking enough water? I know if I don't drink enough, I feel bloated and sluggish. Try downing a glass of cold water, it really helps wake you up and it should get rid of any retention if you drink enough throughout the day.

Also, try eating more wholegrain for the fibre - coupled with the right amount of water, it should make you feel a whole lot better :)
  • I suppose i should track the water, i just have a big cup i fill up a couple times a day and got lazy clicking that thingie 8 times lol

Your calorie intake looks fine but you are eating a lot of packaged meals and hotdogs that are loaded with salt! Try cooking more from fresh ingredients and add lots more green veggies. Those clean out the bloat and give me lots of energy. Also drink more water.
You will feel better soon if you do these things and add a probiotic pill and more fresh fruit!
  • I feel the same. I trained really hard at the gym last night and I'm bloated from eating perhaps from eating my body weight's worth of dairy at the weekend. I've been drinking loads of water today I hope that helps.

Hope you feel better soon K x
  • Tomorrow i go grocery shopping, so i will revise my list and remove all the prepackaged meals.
  • Thanks very much. =)

This. I have the same issue when I have too much sodium as well, I just cut back the sodium and drink more water. I also do yoga to help me stretch out and relieve the soreness. About the "gross" feeling it could just be "one of those days." You don't LOOK gross to me.. :) chin up you'll be fine.

It happens. I woke up feeling bloated - I know its the diet Pepsi I drank last night versus just water. I am not used to it. I also slept badly last night and I know that can contribute to feeling off.

I agree with the sodium and water issues already highlighted. I would also drop the processed foods and bread. The processed foods will help with the sodium, and the yeast in bread can also cause bloating. Hope you feel better soon!
  • After readding sodium to the log, it seems my salt is very high.
I will work on fixing this problem, thanks everyone.
  • I have significantly dropped the amount of bread i eat, normally i would have 3-4 slices with a meal, ive dropped it to 1 slice thats half the size of normal bread.. lol.. i dunno if i can cut it out entirely, but i did make a big change with it

I love bread, I've struggled reducing it too. Good luck, hope you're feeling better soon

i don't think you have to totally cut out bread (I love it and eat a bit most days).
I think cutting out the packaged ready to eat foods will really help!
  • Yeah its hard, i enjoy my carbs a whole lot lol.

I removed the frozen dinners, hotdogs and prepackaged mac and cheese things from my grocery list.

I buy groceries tomorrow, so hopefully in a few days i will go back to feeling like me.
