I don’t have my phone on me all day to accurately track my steps, so I wear a clip on pedometer. While I can mentally keep track of reaching my 10000 steps goal, I wondered if there was a way to log it into MFP. Would be nice to have all my info in one place. Not worried about the added calories, just want to track it. Thanks in advance!

If it’s an activity tracker that connects to MFP, just link them up and everything will be taken care of. If not, log any purposeful walking/running you do for exercise and set your activity level appropriately for your daily life.

You cannot enter steps into MFP. You can calculate your average stride length and convert your steps to mileage, then enter the miles into MFP. As a point of reference, a lot of people average about 2000 steps per mile. You're probably +/- 200 of that.
To calculate your average stride, measure off about 26 ft, then count your steps. Start walking at a normal rate for a ways before you enter the measured area. Multiply your steps within the 26 ft area x 200 to get your steps per mile. So 10 steps in 26 ft x 200=2000 steps per mile.
