Should I add fitness goal?

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I've been learning a lot from all your posts and I am understanding a little bit more about calories and exercise calories and calories without exercise and I think I've got the basics of that down. My question is, when I set up MFP it had asked how often I will be working out and of course my ideal is 4 days a week for 30 min. I use one of the apps (runtastic) for exercise and it automatically adjusts my calories for me, but should I just delete the fitness goal so my calories would be more accurate and then eat back the exercise calories I earn???? I guess I don't understand this as much as I thought. I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing this accurately as possible so I know I'm not doing something wrong, not lose the weight and get depressed and give up.
Thanks so much!

The fitness goal on MFP does not affect your calorie goal. It is basically just a time/frequency goal.
The way MFP is set up it doesn't account for exercise calorie wise until you (or your runtastic) log it.0 -
