On my bicycling days (weekends), I usually ride for three or more hours. My heart rate monitor gives me a calorie burn of 2000 or more. If my net calorie intake is supposed to be 1200, I would have to eat 3200 calories on those days. Should I really try to eat that many calories? Seems like the volume of food I would have to eat to get that many calories is more that I could pack in (unless it includes donuts.)
