Help! What's Happening to My Butt?!

Hello, pals!
I've just joined this great community and I couldn't be more thrilled!
After my 29th birthday, I decided to consider making some lifestyle changes, as I do not want to make the same mistakes as my parents. My father passed away young due to heart disease, a condition that could have been managed. My mother suffers from hypertension and I've recently been diagnosed with prehypertension.
That's why I've decided to embark on a healthy, active lifestyle. However, as much as I want to keep active, I still want to maintain my curves.
After a month or so of lifting (squats, lunges and deadlifts) and a bit of cardio (HIIT), I've noticed a change in my derriere. I welcome it but I fear it forecasts further shrinkage and possible flattening of my rump.
To those who have been lifting for some time, what changes did your much loved rump go through? Did you notice any dramatic shrinkage? Any plumping? Change in body shape? etc
Thanks in advance for any advice, opinions and suggestions!
(By the way, how can I upload pictures? Sorry, I'm new to this website.)

I have a similar bum and trust me you will never lose it, it's your bodys natural shape. Sure it'll get smaller, but so will the rest of you so it'll be virtually the same, just firmer, a better shape and maybe higher? Just my experience but don't worry about it, i think you'll keep dat *kitten*0

Thank you, ladies! It's just that I've been looking at so many fitspos, and while they look good, I can't help but fear losing shape! But thank you! Needed that!0
