Effexor and appetite?

Is anyone currently on or been on Effexor and noticed a sharp increase in appetite? I'm on a low dosage (75 mg) right now to help treat my postpartum depression, and it seems like since I've been on it is the time frame I've noticed binging episodes getting worse.

Just wondering if there might be any correlation.

When I was on Effexor, I was constantly starving. My Dr told me it affects some people that way. On Effexor, people tend to lose weight....except for that small percentage that gain weight.

Yeah, I've read that the majority lose appetite/lose weight. I'm doing much better postpartum-wise and have plans with my doctor in the near future to try slowly weaning back off of it and see how I do, so I'll have to pay attention and see if that's what might be my downfall with the mindless eating.
