Vitamin E

Many of us have heard of this vitamin before, but when we do however, it typically involves something or a subject matter in regards to skin, or various skin products.

While Vitamin E is of course great for the skin, but there’s more to this vitamin that doesn’t get talked about.

So first…What is It?🤔

Vitamin E defined, is a fat-soluble vitamin important for normal cell growth and function. It is usually found in vegetable oils, leafy greens, and comes in at minimum of eight different forms.

Vitamin E is not only responsible for cell growth and functionality, but its also an antioxidant that aides towards the prevention of damaged free radicals that are key elements towards certain fats, not only critical towards our health, but even our “aging” clocks.(Talk about slowing down time)

Below I’d like to share some significant benefits, and just a few more reasons why Vitamin E makes the list as one of most important vitamins of the vitamin world.

-Hormonal Balance

Vitamin E helps to naturally balance hormones within the body. These hormones can range from those such as weight gain, anxiety, fatigue, skin conditions, and even effect the P.M.S in women.🚺

Believe it or not, as a woman, taking a daily dose of vitamin E a few days prior to the start of the menstrual periods, can reduce cramping, cravings, anxiety, of other related symptoms associated with P.M.S.

-Disease Development, Prevention, & Skin Care

Vitamin E puts the ‘fighting power” of free radicals at a disadvantage. Free radicals are responsible for the breakdown of healthy cells within our body.

Taking your daily dosage of vitamin E can help to reduce any and all damage caused by free radicals, protect against skin cancer, skin inflammation, eczema, and even acne.

-Cholesterol Balance or Imbalance

Believe it or not, vitamin E plays a huge role when it comes to the lowering of cholesterol levels within the body. By now, I’m sure that many of us are aware of what bad, or high cholesterol levels can mean for our bodies.

As a reminder however, high cholesterol levels can lead to clogged arteries, which long, or short term can lead to certain heart diseases, high blood pressure, and so much more. Long term, this can even slow down the hardening or thickening of the arteries

Vitamin E has a great impact on our cardiovascular system, and health thanks to its ability to help control the production of cholesterol within the body. Thanks to the antioxidant content of vitamin E, it also helps to fight cholesterol oxidation.
