What are your top 3 things to use the in the gym? (cardio or strength)

Dumbbells and adjustable bench, and I cannot think of anything else at all, since I do my cardio at the swimming pool0
-
1. Squat rack
2. Floor space w/bar for deadlifts
3. Bench & free weights
My cardio is I run, no gym required. I go outside and run regardless of weather except for thunderstorms because lightning. (yep, I'm that weirdo that goes for a run in the pouring rain)0 -
I do 30 minutes of running on a treadmill then I lift weights probably because I don't want lose skin on my body and recently I found this great workout app this really kills my body and I love it.0

Same!!!! I thought it was just me. I also like that few people are willing to run when it's pouring, so not only am I faster, I'm also all by myself pretending to out run the zombie horde.0 -
I have two of my 3 favorite at home now - Rowing Machine and an Assault Bike. The third favorite thing went up for sale, used, on Craigslist this week - a SkiErg. I'm tempted but my wife would kill me. But man, I might be able to pick it up for $400 (it's nearly new and $900 plus new with a stand). Those three and a few more KBs, I don't need no stinking gym!! So love me some Stairmaster as a change of pace and on cooldowns from the rower.
I've only heard of a few gyms (aside from CrossFit gyms) that have the SkiErg or the Assault Bike. Would love more gyms to have them (or the new BikeErg too).0 -
Cybex Sparx and Stepmill and good bootcamps at various gyms. For lifting I follow a program.0

1. Lat pulldown
2. leg press machine
3. Pre-cor elliptical0 -
Elliptical, seated row, and treadmill. Not super balanced but I find it fun!!0

Squat rack: so versatile
Hex bar: much easier lift for me as I am tall and have hurt my back in the past
Just like having adequate benches and stuff like that is so important as well in my opinion. I prefer going at nonpeake hours so I can hog one piece of equipment forever0
