I've seen packaged baked pita as a replacement. Otherwise bake some wonton wrappers

I often buy the thin tortilla chips as I like the way they taste and you get many more per the same serving size.

You're tired of tortilla chips or they have too many cals? Trader Joe's Baked Blue Corn Chips are delicious and only 110 cals per 18 chips.

I live in NM...chips and salsa are a tradition that I'm not willing to part with. I don't eat them all that often...usually only when we have guests and we put out the chips and salsa and have cocktails before dinner...no biggie.

baked pita til crisp would work or a thinly sliced and baked off sweet potato (or regular) - add whatever spices to it
