Epic Fail or Breakthrough?

It has been a disastrous week for eating, but a great week for understanding myself and for exercise. Really an epic fail for eating. I binged at least 3 times this week. Perhaps you know this...stuffing one mini candy bar in my mouth after another! Trying to increase my protein to decrease my carbs didn't work so well. I did it but it was painful and then I binged. So I have reflected for days and today's answer for this diabetic is more fat less protein. Don't worry that I don't eat enough protein it is 100+ grams every day! I tried this plan yesterday and it worked. I was pretty close to my calorie goal and was under 140 g of carbs….With 3 desserts! I also realized I can't leave my beloved Weight Watchers...There is so much support for me there! So weight watchers friends don't despair... I'm still going to be here. I am changing to online WW because WW connect is really where I have breakthroughs. This week I have ridden my bike 3 times before work and once each weekend. I've still done tons of walking too. I didn't make it to the gym but I have been researching and actually doing exercises and stretches for knee and foot pain and they are helping. Updated Goals: 1-bike 3 times a week at least. 2-some exercise/stretch for knees, hips, or feet everyday. 3-track every day. 4-post every week until I lose 10 pounds. 5-be under my carb grams each day. 6-post about my feelings every time I binge.

This sounds like an awesome breakthrough and not a fail. You not only gained information by finding something that didn't work, you also found two things that do work for you! Congrats and keep up the awesome work.0

I adapted this to my body goals.
I never fail. I either succeed, or I learn.
You've learned, that's a success in itself.
