Hello to all so I’m 286 in pounds and I need to lost about 40 for my heart . But it seems so hard to lose it . I know first step is Dieting, second step is exercising, and stress levels. Anyone that been through this think they can share to help .

It IS hard to change bad eating habits. I've been struggling with it most of my adult life. I've been on and off My Fitness Pal for years without much success (have lost 21 pounds in the past 3 years; need to lose 50 more). I'm recently back to MFP after a long break because I saw some lost weight creeping back. I decided to focus on 1) Drink at least 2 cups (1 pint) of water between meals, and 2) measure and log everything I eat in my food diary here, doing my best to stay under the calorie goal that MFP set for me. I get some exercise but I'm not logging that yet. The more simple the better for me.0
