Cutting

Hi all. Ive been cutting for last 3 months now. Started at 180lb and now gone down to 158 lb. Im 5ft 9 tall and feel this is way to light. The abbs are nearly there peaking through the surface but not sure if I should stopp the cut and increase calories. Dont wont to be that skinny guy with abbs lol.

Stats:
My maintenance level is around 2200 calories. Current deficit at 1700 calories. Weights 3 times a week and hit training twice a week.
Age 44 / height 5ft 9 tall.

Any views or advice ?

It's kinda personal preference. None of us can say what you should do. Especially without seeing what you look like, but even then everyone has a different opinion and yours is the only one that matters.

It's a process. You might end up lighter/skinnier than you like the first time you cut down. It happens especially if you don't already have a significant base to work with or if your cut/diet didn't involve the right kind of strength training to maintain your existing muscle mass. If you aren't happy with the way you look you can always bulk up with the goal and a program designed to add lean mass and then cut again down the road... most times it may take several cycles or even years before you are happy with the end result.
