Hello Everybody, I have been cutting for 3 weeks now and have lost no weight at all. From 2500 calories I have cut down to 1500+ I do lifting and cardio every day. How come I have still not lost any weight. Im 1.92m tall and weigh 91kg, with my goal being 85kg as I do have belly fat and fat around the chest areas.

If you are truly eating at a deficit, it will go down, sometimes it just takes a while .Make sure you are tracking accurately. Using a food scale is great, but if not at least measuring cups/spoons.
Also, do you count everything? Coffee creamer, oil for cooking, drinks, etc.. It adds up quickly.1 -
Why is your fat so tight? What is going on here!3

So to actually answer your question.. if you havent lost anymore i would go check to make sure your hormone profile is intact
Tsh.. and estrogen levels. Also your 1500 calories what do they entail
Try to keep it low carb higher fat and protein. 1500 calories could be cake and chocolate bars but doesnt necessarily mean it will help you lean out. Also try to do HIIT cardio. This is where you do 1 mins of high intense cardio as fast as you can then 1 min of slower and rest. This will chsnge things up and accelerate the fat burning. Track your heart rate are you working hard enough? Get into your fst burn zone. For me its 120 to 130. If its over you are in cardio which also entails fat burning.
Hope this helps!!

Honestly, you would think people would be more supportive, considering how hard this journey is.
To your question, don't quit! I know it is incredibly frustrating, but it will happen. Ask yourself - have you gained weight?
That was the trend before, right? At this point, you have put a stop to that trend. That takes a lot of energy to roll a ball up a hill that has been speeding down it, getting bigger as it rolled. Your weight was like that speeding ball. You've stopped it from snowballing. But now you have to keep pushing.
Weight loss can seem like an uphill battle. But don't quit. It gets easier. MUCH MUCH easier, but only if you don't quit!
If you quit, you have to start at the beginning again, and the beginning is always hardest. So don't quit. Give yourself three months and see if you have made some progress in some area, and always remember you haven't gotten fatter, which is a feat in itself.
Best wishes.3 -
Just to lighten the mood! I have tried adjusting my calories countless times but I don't stick to them. It is a surprise when I lose anything0 -
