Hi my name is Nicole , I am mother of 5 and recent was told I am pre-diabetic and have high cholesterol.I turn 40 in October and I’m a food addict and over weight and it’s time to take my life back hoping for some support to do this and hoping a year from now I can be at least 3/4 of the way towards my goal weight

Depending on how much you have to lose, you can certainly make a good go of it. Read the stickies posts at the top of the getting started and general weight loss forums. There is a pile of great information in there. Have patience with yourself, be consistent and persistent. Start with logging for a week or two then look for some small sustainable changes you can live with.0
