Hi, my name is John

I've always been overweight my entire life, up until a few years ago I was content being my self. It wasn't until I started seeing the health problems that were arising from my weight that I felt primal urge to do something for self-preservation. Even after then, It took a few years of trying and failing to see exactly how weight loss works and the pitfalls of how we trick ourselves with fat logic.

With all that Knowledge gained, I decided that this was the year, and put together all the tricks I've learned to help keep me on track and keep losing. I put together a plan to get rid of everything in my life and completely restart over. A few months ago I pulled the trigger on this plan and began looking for job in a far away city that I've never been to. It just so happened that I found an amazing job in Seattle. On July 26, the company flew me out here to start my relocation and start my new life. Today is day 13, still in corporate housing, but that will change soon.

I know the road ahead of me will be tough, but it’s a challenge that I’m looking forward to. I’ve taken some proactive step to make sure I have an active lifestyle living in the city. I’ve even went so far as to sell my truck to rely walking or biking everywhere. With the knowledge I’ve gained over the years and with the momentum of taking such drastic steps in my life, I know I will succeed.

I started a blog to document my progress while I explore my new city, and I hope my story will help motivate others and show that you can do anything you want, as long as you put your mind to it. I plan posting plenty of reviews as well as footage from my exploration/exploits around the city, you can follow me on here or Twitter/Facebook/YouTube, links can be found on my blog at Fat2FitSeattle.com

What's up? I'm Robyn. I am trying to lose weight as I take my journey through the first year of college. I'm doing pretty good but I need some motivation for my off days. A few weeks ago I had two major wake up calls 1. I had to watch a Gastric Bypass and that was scary and one of my family members had Open Heart Surgery. It is really hard but it is a necessary change. Good luck with the new life!
