OK, odd question/statement, the days I work, I eat the same breakfast, yet some days it keeps me filled up for hours, some days, I'm hungry after 2 hours, why? Nothing is different.
What are your thoughts on why this is so?

Nothing is different? Is the food you eat the same?0

Yup same thing, same amount of milk, same size everything. The only change is the brand of cheese, but it's still a slice of cheddar cheese. And I don't notice a change with the different cheese...0

Is this cheese a whole fat kind? And the other with less fat?0

Same here
Could be stress, boredom, random hunger, or maybe i exercised a lot more the day before and didn't eat enough so am hungrier the next day0 -
What and when I ate the night before can often affect how full I remain after breakfast.
Have a look at your previous day, what and when you ate and if there is a trend.
ie: if I am short on protein for the day I will top it up with a protein shake made with water and whey isolate about an hour before bed. The higher the protein level is in that drink, the less hungry I am the next morning.
The same in reverse, if I ate early the night before, my breakfast doesn't fill me as long.
Cheers, h.4 -
Appetite is not the same as hunger; hunger is the objective need any physical body has for nourishment, while appetite is individual, subjective, habitual and situational. Some days you're busy and forget you're hungry, other days you might feel sad and the thought of eating never leaves you.2

Are you doing something physical to end the day the day before?0

This is a possible, on 3 days a week, I don't get out of work till 8:30, so by the time I get home and shower, I don't get to eat dinner till 9 pm, so I'll have a small dinner, like a PB&J sandwich or cereal, cause I don't want to go to bed full, I'll have to start paying attention and see if it's those days.
I do have issues with getting enough protein, but that's an everyday issue...2 -

no, I work out in the morning, otherwise it's too easy to say, nope, don't feel like working out today....0 -
it happens to me also, my breakfast is the same everyday, but for some reason I have days that I wake up hungry.. I have notice that it happens when I eat carbs at night, but normally it goes away after I drink my first glass of water in the morning. Not sure if it is my body telling me that it wants more lol0

This happens to me too. I eat the same thing for breakfast too. My breakfast is about 600 calories and it should keep me going. However, I really don't like eating at night. When I am short on calories the day before, then I find that I am much hungrier the next day. Sometimes that 600 calories only lasts for about 1.5 hrs before I am hungry. Or, if I did a harder workout the day before, then sometimes the munchies don't hit me until the next day.
Keep a diary with your exercise and food (timing too) and see if you can find a connection.0
