I have lost 2000 lbs. over my lifetime....unfortunately I have agained 2030! I joined myfitnesspal two months ago and have lost 10 pounds in 2months and enjoying the process!
Time will tell if this is a sustainable process, but what I have learned thus far is:
1) I weigh each day at the same time.
2) I keep my calorie intake below 1900 calories/day.
3) I evercise by walking at least 7,000 steps per day.
4) I focus on consistency of following the process, not the results.
5) Yet, I do learn from each day's fluctuation of weight.
6) I expand my focus to other measures---simple strength training three times per week...knowing that additional muscle means more weight but balancing the gain and the loss.
7) I have low calorie snacks each morning and each afternoon.
8) I make healthy choices routinely. It's really not hard once you focus on process, not results.
9) I am still learning to trust the process. I lose a pound on the average of one pount every 7-8 days. I can't help it! LOL
10) This positive habit is infectious...it impacts other habits!
11) I feel good!
12) I will continue to learn from the results and the process to continuously improve.
13) My pal fitness supports me and makes it easy to stay on track...as long as I log in EVERYTHING that I eat.
14) It provides me a structure that I needed! Ihope it does for you as well.
