Nothing will have an impact on basal metabolic rates outside of increasing muscle mass, and even than, it's rather minimal. Moving more, exercise and eating foods high in protein/fiber will increase energy output though.16 -
No food or drink speeds up your metabolism. Exercise will increase your overall energy expenditure...ie metabolism. You can't really do anything about your basal metabolic rate outside of increasing muscle mass...10

There are no magic foods/pills/drinks that will speed up or slow down metabolism. If there were no one would be over or under weight.11

The idea of speeding up your metabolism is a myth. If you want to be able to eat more calories, then you either have to adjust your MFP goals so that you lose weight more slowly, and/or do more exercise so you have more calories to eat back.6

For a higher metabolism you have one of two options:
1. Move more
2. Don't move more, but don't move less, and gain a lot of weight5 -
Food or drink can't speed up your metabolism. Movement can.1

Coffee or spicy food... but its not by enough for it to matter1

Unless you have a lot of coffee and spicy food, but then that becomes "move more" due to doing windsprints to the toilet..... 😋.7 -

If everything else is too bothersome, like building muscle or moving more try fidgetting and/or get a standing desk. Both increase calorie burn somewhat.0

Nothing to eat/drink that's safe/legal. There's stuff you can do: More exercise, build more muscle (slow, small contribution to calorie burn once you have it, but worth it for other reasons), and this:

There's no point in looking for low effort "hacks". They don't work, except to line the pockets of people who advertise them. In real life, we just have to put in the work: Calorie deficit, healthy movement.2
