Well, my psychiatrist told me I needed to stop my awful diet, which I worked out I was eating 4500 calories! So, I weighed myself, found I was almost double my ideal weight, and technically obese.

So, I'm now starting to diet and cutting down to 1500 calories a day. :) Any support is welcome! :)

    Hi Xarra! Be encouraged. This is my first time with myfitnesspal and I have heard great things about it. We can do it!

    I have been finding this link very encouraging. It is a blog of some one that lost hundreds of pound by having a 1500 calorie a day goal. http://losingweighteveryday.blogspot.com/2008/10/day-1-calorie-wars.html See if he inspires you. He is very honest about all the excuses and delay tactics we use to avoid starting. Good luck with your start, you can do it. Find the thing that move you and run with it.
