Fiber Intake

So I have a fairly strict diet being that I only eat whole food. I really enjoy eating natural and unprocessed foods however these foods all seem to contain a ton of fiber, which sounds like a great thing except that I’m now getting sometimes twice my daily intake a day which causes me some serious digestion issues. Does anyone know of any good natural foods that are lower in fiber?

Peeled potatoes (both sweet and regular), bananas, all kinds of meat and fish, all kinds of oil and fat, eggs, rice, pumpkin, corn, onion, watermelon, grapes, most nuts, and many others.

ETA: I habitually consume a lot of fiber and have no digestive problems. If you're new to this, you may experience problems in the beginning but it settles down eventually as you get used to it. The exception would be if you have an undiscovered digestive system disorder that's causing you to have problems. You need to get that checked out if these symptoms continue.

It's usually best to increase fiber gradually, and make sure you're also getting adequate water and dietary fats. (The commonest problem I see in this area on MFP is people in a calorie deficit getting too little fat with increased fiber, so poor digestive throughout.)

Probiotic foods also help some people (e.g., live culture yogurt/kefir, unpasteurized/raw sauerkraut and kim chi, miso, kombucha, etc.) Exercise helps some people, especially exercise that moves the middle.

Amusedmonkey's caution about digestive disorders is sensible, too.
