What’s happening guys, I’m 24 years old and was a very sporting kid playing both football and rugby at elite levels... office/sales related job... comfort food and no excercise... I ballooned up to 131kg and I’m now done to 112... this is still a mile away from where I need to be! Any tips/ tricks etc? I’m probably losing 0.8kg a week but worry I might not maintain that once I get to a certain weight I’m on about 15/1600 calories per day and go to the gym for 45/55minutes doing cardio classes/ circuits and free weights.. any tips would be great.

Patience. If you continue eating the same calories as you decrease in weight, yes the rate of loss will also decrease because your overall maintenance calories will be lower, therefor decreasing your overall deficit. Just keep at it and you will eventually hit your goal. I would not recommend decreasing your overall calories, either, as eating too few calories will lead to not getting proper nutrients and is more likely to lead to binge eating.

That’s awesome advice, I’ll definitely bear that in mind
