I found the best way for an hour to fly by on the elliptical machine...

The Nintendo Switch! I have a Precor elliptical in my house so I play off the TV, but the Switch is a portable tablet, so you could bring it to the gym and rest it on the book holder shelf on the machine.

The Nintendo Switch uses small detachable "joy cons" that you hold in each hand, so it makes it extremely easy to play while on the elliptical. I don't hold onto the handles on the elliptical because I find I get better workout if I have to balance myself, which leaves my hands free anyway.

I'm bad at Fortnite, but I'll play about three battles and be done with my workout without any chance to get bored. I also finished Mario Odyssey from start to finish on the elliptical. The motion controls for Mario Odyssey are a good way to get your arms moving during the workout too.

I have watched Netflix shows or listening to music while working out, but I have to say, nothing makes the time fly like the Nintendo Switch does. Just passing the idea along. Anyone else try using the Nintendo Switch for their workouts and have any game recs? Anyone have something else that makes workouts fly by in a similar way?

I've been wanting a Switch ever since it came out, but it's way too overpriced here and poor game availability (plus the downside of not being able to buy them through a Steam sale). I may gift myself one for Christmas because I'm a big baby and I don't always listen to logic.
