Ordered a new one from Amazon, same day delivery. Until then, I’m on my own ...

I eat SO MUCH LESS peanut butter now that I have a digital scale. I was in denial about 2 T, but 32 grams = 32 grams. I think I've been working on the same small jar for months.

I tried to kill mine yesterday. I dropped my vinegar bottle on the counter and it shattered showering the scale and my salad in vinegar and glass. The scale survived my attack but I will get it next time.

Still can't find the appropriate MFP entry for the glass shards added to my salad...

Make sure you do the net carbs calculation.

Don't forget to have a single piece of cake! (official MFP serving size for cake, 1 piece):

1 piece is the big part on the right.

    Of course!

I’d count them as insoluble fiber.

Mine is on the fritz. Yesterday I turned it on, hit the tare button, and watched an empty scale go up from 0 to 1 and 1 7/8 oz, one eight of an ounce at a time over about 30 seconds. That air just kept getting heavier and heavier. I cleaned it (there was a lone rolled oat wedged in it) and it seemed to work.

But today my empty blender bottle started getting heavier before I added the almond milk.

I need to replace the batteries and see if that is it (it usually starts acting off when the batteries are low), but if not, a new scale is in order. :(

I've been known to put the peanut butter back in the jar deciding that the tiny spoonful was just not worth it.

As I commit the body of this old friend to the trash, I know that..... this pint of ice cream is actually lighter than listed. He would want me to have another. Lol

There are few things in life as sad as the first time you weigh an actual "serving" of peanut butter.

@AnvilHead A "serving" of granola is pretty disappointing as well. Granola is the only food I really gave up, I could have twice the weight of most cookies for what I could have with granola.

Very true. And that tiny little "serving" is umpteen zillion calories. Not even worth it. At least peanut butter is worth the calories! (IMO)

    I stopped buying granola.

Then I realized I had all the ingredients to make it pretty much any time.

That was a little ritual I had trouble breaking. "I'll just make a serving!"
