Hey everyone. I'm new to MFP. I've tried weight loss before with no real results. I can definitely use a kick in the butt. Any advice, motivation, friends are totally welcome.

    Weightloss happens over time when you eat less than you burn. That is something you do, not try, that's why you haven't seen any real results. Use your food diary, hit your calorie target, that's all you need to do. It's challenging enough, though, so my advice would be to block out as much distraction as possible.
