Or Foozer as most people call me (it evolved from Phyllis to Foo to Foozilla to Foozer thanks baby Bro) loI Im just popping my head out of the door of My Happy Weight Saga to give a big thumbs up to all my teammates here at MFP! Back again stepping off the scale and up to the challenge of loving myself and my body! To me its really not about size and numbers but more about acceptance of who you are💖I have gained 65 and lost 100 only to gain it back + an additional 25 lbs. I can testify that these are not end of life markers and permanent failures but preparedness for a triatholon of successes. I say that because every time I have not had success at having a booty kicking contest with blubber I have won a booby prize of extra wisdom for the next match! Now at 59 I am more confident than ever because Im still in the fight for life! If your struggling for succes ..... let the notion of did or didnt do it right take a back seat of lesser importance than your day by day success at showing yourself that your worth is not determined by a number on the scale or a few food boo-boo’s! Dont let failures cause you to just throw yourself on the stretcher heading out of the competition with an “Im ok” thumbs up carried by a couple of twinkies... loI Have Faith in who you are and if you get larger or smaller roll with those upper cuts and learn to hit harder and move faster. In the game of health and fitness if you concentrate only on the times you didnt succeed your gonna be batting at cotton balls or 1.00 bills in a wind machine. I love it!!!!!! (now where did I put my butterfly net!!!!!!!!!!) Love you everyone ! Your NEVER alone and my motto is BIG LOSERS NEVER QUIT!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome aboard Phyllis! The challenge of self-love (including appreciating your body) is a hard but very important one. To me, size is important because I feel better when I'm healthy, but you're right.. you can also be happy with it despite being "not perfect". Good luck!!1
