Porridge?

I always here how good and filling porridge is for you, but whenever I make it, using half a cup dry oats with almond or other milk I'm starving after 2 hours! I'm not this hungry after a big bowl of wholegrain cereal and most other breakfasts. Does anyone else feel this way? and why doesn't it keep me full? I suppose its not really important i'm just curious as I like it and its filling when I eat it but it just doesn't last!

    I make my oatmeal with water & then add cinnamon & 100 gm of Greek yogurt.. If I'm going to have almond milk then I chose to drink it... This will usually fill me up till my break @ work about 4 hours later :)

    It's my #1 super food, I boil it with water as well, add blueberries, banana, apple .. Keeps me satisfied for hours.
