The start

Hello

I am starting a fresh journey on here and I’m motivated to succeed! I had lost 15 pounds last year - and due to unfortunate circumstances I fell out of my healthy routine :( I had a bad relationship and on top of that my mom has been battling an incurable cancer.

I’m ready to shove all excuses aside and prosper into losing 65 pounds before Christmas. This gives me 4 months of calorie counting and building myself an on going workout routine. And combatting my emotional eating once and for all.

Who wants to accompany me on this journey, support and keep me accountable? Comment below and I’ll do the same for you! Let’s create a plan!

Congratulations on losing 15lbs! I know you said you’ve gained it back but the fact that you’ve successfully done it before is only confirmation that you can do it again! We have similar goals as I would like to lose 50lbs by Jan 1st, 2019. H o w e v e r — I’m totally NEW to working out and eating right etc so I’m a bit confused 😕. I also deal with emotional eating so I feel your pain! I would to join you on this journey! Also, prayers up for your Mom 🙏🏾

Hi....honestly, I think 65lbs by Christmas is extremely aggressive. I don’t want to be negative but I’ve lost 79lbs since 2/27/18 which comes out to 3lbs per week. I religiously count calories (about 1,200 per day) and I burn 450 calories at the gym every morning.....I think you need to be realistic in your goals so you can see positive progress which will motivate you to keep going...
16 weeks till Christmas x 3lbs per week = about 48lb weight loss......that’d be MY goal....
Send me a fr if you want to know more.

1% per week is as fast as you should go, and that is hard. Instead of a diet with an expiration date, I'm trying to be as healthy as I can every day. I started 8 months ago and am down 100 lb with 60 to go. I'll reach the weight goal soon enough. When I get there I'll have ended my bad eating behaviors like emotional eating. Those changes keep me from sabotaging plan and will empower me to maintain a normal weight and exercise plan
