Which Pokemon would you choose for your first one. (not limited to the 3 offered in the game for the sake of this thread)

I'm gonna be a total girl and say Skitty because it's cute.1

I thought all Pokémon became extinct when my son turned 13. I was sad because I was very fond of Squirtle. Now I am happy again yay Go Pokémon.0

Yes! An original!0 -
I have to pick Inkay...because a few years ago my youngest son showed me a Pokémon card and told me to remember it. Now, every so often, he quizzes me... “What’s the third letter of the Pokémon I showed you?”1

I liked Bulbasaur because it seemed like a plant based one got you off to a good start with the first few gyms (in the old blue version anyways). I guess there are some other plants to pick, but he was my favorite.0

Vaporeon is my absolute favorite0

Saw the title and my mind went straight to Evil Dead.2

Pikachu of course but that's because it was the star of the show and won my heart as a child. So take Pikachu out of the picture I'd pick.... Idk....I guess I had a lot of favorites. Vulpix was super cute. Eevee can evolve into any type.
Out of the original starters I thought squirtle was coolest and bulbasaur the most powerful.
I don't know much about all the new types. I think I stopped paying attention after the second generation.0 -

I think the last game I played was when they introduced those berries and the Pokémon shows where you did a move and the crowd ranked it as "cool" or "cute". I'm also getting Gameboy color flashbacks with the attachable lights because technology hadn't put light in the screen yet...1 -

Duh, Mew. 850+ Pokemon later and I would still choose Mew.

I also would choose Pikachu, and then Mew. However if you take the 2 best pokemon off the table. I'd have to go with Jigglypuff which was the original 1st Pokemon and also because I think it's funny and I like karaoke.
However I first thought this thread was talking about the real Ash.

True Story, I nick named my older brother jigglypuff in middle school and it stuck. We were both well out of high school and some people (from that high school of course) would still yell it at him. One of my proudest achievements.3

I don't have a preference but my son has decided that he prefers Pokemon from the Alola region. Litten is one, right? I'll choose that cause I like cats, lol.0
