September pushups challenge

I am thinking about trying to do about 450 pushups a week. Obviously I'll need to do more sets than I have been (usually do five sets which gives me a total of 60 to 70) but that would mean I could end up doing nearly 2000 in September. That's if my arms don't fall off! I usually only do pushups for a few days then lose interest!

Anyone else want to set a pushups goal?

    Hmmm. I would be up for doing the 100 Pushups program, though I will have to start by doing knee pushups.

    I am starting at the very lowest rung on the ladder (0-5) here!

    Only 50 pushups today as I'm SORE from yesterday.

    1/9 2.2km swim.
    2/9 64 pushups 40s wallsit plus core work.
    3/9 117 full pushups.
    4/9 2.7km swim plus 50 full pushups.

    60 full pushups today after a 3.4km swim.

    Have knocked my goal back to 1000 as still can't do pushups without abdominal pain so think I've torn an ab.
