Need a little help y'all. So I'm 28 years old, Female, 5'7 and weigh 230lbs right now. Down about 8 pounds in the last few weeks. Just started to the gym and looking to do between 300 and 500 calories burned 5 to 6 days a week. I eat about 1300 calories per day, waiting out for my sugars/carbs/sodium and all others are falling right in range. Does this sound like a safe amount to work out for what im taking in?

1300 calories sounds low for your age, height, and weight. How much did MFP give you for calories when you entered it in the setup? When you exercise 300-500 calories, you are to eat those calories as well. The MFP target has your weight loss deficit built in already. Under eating while exercising is a recipe for disaster with regards to your health. Be kinder to your body, it's the only one you have.4
