Hello Runners out there!!

I am preparing for my first half marathon in September, it is a complete downhill. I have been doing my training and gradually increasing the mileage on my long runs, currently at 8 mile mark.

I was wondering if there is a website or so which would give the elevation gain/loss for the route I am going before hand.

Advance Thanks for your suggestions

If you know the route you can plot it at "Running Ahead" or "Map My Run" or probably a few other places and it will give you the elevation profile.

Check out the website mapmyrun.com, you can map out the route and then click the "elevation" box and it will give you a graph.
  • Map my run is good, it will tell you the elevation change during your run as well as the % grade at each point. If you are just going for elevation change, USATF has a slightly simpler look to it
