Keto question

I have my setting set for low carb and adjusted all my settings according to macro (height and weight). I enter in everything I eat and drink and when I check my complete diary it says the weight loss will be ALOT slower than what I'm actually losing it seems. My question is does this app take into account my body is in ketosis? Thx

the 5 week prediction isn't accurate, i'd just ignore it if i was you.
if you eat in a calorie deficit, you'll lose weight.4 -
When you initially go low carb/keto you will drop a lot of water weight very quickly. MFP doesn't take that into account as it's working off fat loss.
Also, that "in 5 weeks" thing is pretty BS. Don't worry too much about it.4 -
As @TavistockToad said above.
Also, if you are new to Keto you will drop a few extra lbs in waterweight at the beginning. This isn't fat loss, and when/if you decide not to do Keto, you will gain the proportional amount of water back.
If this isn't the cause of your faster than expected weight loss, are you exercising?
If you are and not eating back exercise calories as MFP expects you have put yourself into a greater deficit than the goal you set when entering in your stats.
If after 4-6 weeks you are losing faster than the goal you set, up your calories slightly.
The 'in 5weeks you will lose...' is only taking your day's input into account. If you logged less than expected it projects from that lower calorie count.

Other than the initial drop in water weight, being in ketosis won't make you lose weight any faster than if you weren't, given the same number of calories.
As others have already said, the 5 week projection is not even worth paying attention to. It assumes that you will eat the exact same number of calories and have the exact same activity level every single day during that 5 week projection, which isn't going to happen.5 -

As an FYI, ketosis is just a metabolic state where you utilize ketones for energy. It doesn't really haven't anything to do with fat loss. Now it's commonly mistaking that you become a fat burning machine, which is true, but what isn't told to you, is that you are a fat burning machine because you are eating more fat. Net energy balance is what drives body fat loss.5
