Fitbit gives you exercise calories but should I also still add my specific exercise? I don't want to give myself too many calories to eat.

No, fitbit takes care of everything.

If you want some 'bragging rights' you can add it. It won't double count it or you could just type in on your home page what you did. I leave fitbit to do what it does best but sometimes I do manually book it. Up to you really.

just make sure the start time is accurate, if the start time is off it could get double added

Just make a wall post about your workout, with more info than a workout logging would provide.

As mentioned above, leave Fitbit do to what it's doing. Unless you are lifting - then manually log workout on Fitbit.

I do free weights 2-3 times a week for about 15 minutes. There's no logging that on MFP right now. 😕

Sure there is, it's in the database with all the other exercise you can do - Weights on Fitbit, Strength Training on MFP.

But, with that little time, even if Fitbit was inflated by 50%, it really doesn't matter in the scheme of an otherwise active lifestyle, so I wouldn't even worry about it.

@jewel3 whatever workout Fitbit detects you don’t need to add it to MFP. Say for eg. If you did calisthenics or circuit training you should add that to MFP
