Today I weighed in. I dropped 2 pounds. My calorie goal stayed the same. Shouldn’t MFP lower my calorie goal as I lose weight?

2lbs isn't really enough to warrant a change in your calorie goal. Maybe every 10-20lbs depending on your weight loss goals.1

After losing 10 lbs it will prompt you to recalculate on the website.
You can also manually recalculate it anytime you want, but it really doesn’t need to be done until you have lost 10+ lbs5 -
2 lbs is a drop in the bucket -- it has a negligible impact on your TDEE.1
