I've been lookin at my calories on a weekly basis but find that if u binge u then try and restrict all week which then leads to further binges .
Shal I just go off daily calories ?

have you set your calorie goal to a more appropriate goal yet? to avoid binges? or even maintenance until you get yourself out of the cycle?
i ask this because you have posted similar questions for a good few months now? maybe its time to seek professional help ?4 -
If you're finding you are restricting and continuing the cycle with what you're doing now then I would make a change. What works to help stop binging is different for everyone but breaking the binge cycle is ultimately the most important thing. No point at all coming in under your calories for 6 days if you're going to binge on the 7th then start all over so if it's not working now, change it. Change it until you find what does work.
I try and take every day as it comes. Every day without a binge is a success whether I hit my calorie goals or not, though obviously I do try. When I'm mentally healthier I can start sweating the small stuff like how I arrange my deficit. Breaking the cycle always always always comes first for me. If you have access to professional help I agree with Tavistock, use whatever resources you have available.1 -
If you are prone to way overeating and then trying to "atone" for it via very low calorie days, I'd suggest aiming for a weekly average BUT implementing a daily high/low limit. For example, you might aim for an overall average of 1700 over the course of a week but not allow yourself to eat less than 1500 or more than 1900 on any one day.5

For me, weekly is best as it gives me flexibility.
I bank the calories first and then splurge with the saved ones - easy since my week starts on Monday and I tend to do high calorie things - go out for meals, have a few drinks etc - on weekends.
I don't do the splurge and then try to catch up on the following days.
However if weekly approach is not working for you, come back to daily. Perhaps daily is easier as you are not looking beyond one day at a time.1 -
This is why myself and others think that it is okay to bank calories to eat more at a later time but it is not good to pay for calories already spent. In other words, if you binge you just log it, forgive it, and move on otherwise you end up in the cycle you find yourself in now.
You should focus on daily calories and like @TavistockToad suggests make sure they are appropriate for you. If you want to bank calories start at no more than 100 calories per day under your goal but I would not even consider it until you have completely broken your binge cycle.6 -

Can confirm the cycle. Restricting extra after going over just makes things worse. Last time I went over to the point I felt uneasy about it, I made sure to only eat at maintenance after, not restrictive, and my weight settled out in exactly the same time frame.1 -
The point of going weekly is to allow a *bit* more flexibility on weekends/special days, not to compensate for binges with subsequent low calories days and set up a restrict/binge cycle.
If you find that going weekly makes you binge/restrict, then you don't have to do it. Use the tool in the way that best fits your lifestyle and preferences.0
