My Little Rant... ALLERGIC TO ARROGANCE!

I don’t know much about fitness and health. NOBODY knows EVERYTHING about fitness and health. Perhaps I’m a little biased as I’m a psychology graduate student, who has worked with MANY people of different ages and backgrounds, coming from a family filled with mental health and obesity problems, a mother who’s lost weight (consistently, using OA/walking) WITHOUT counting calories or even KNOWING what TDEE/BMR is.

Why am I ranting on here?
1. My son and boyfriend have been driving me CRAZY and, for the sake of staying out of a federal prison, I’d rather vent on here then vent ON them. Lol (jk…kind of… not really?)
2. Arrogance and ignorance = allergic reaction. I itch and get hives and the air gets filled with so much stupid that it makes it hard for me to breathe. Quite irritating..
3. Read 1 & 2 again.

Call me CRAZY…. But last time I checked, someone asking for encouragement and support isn’t always looking for someone to pity them, try to MAKE them do something, or whatever else I’ve seen. Someone asking for advice MAY or may NOT be trying to get under everyone’s skill.

…get your head out of your butt and out of the imaginary clouds of whatever world you think you live in.. you don’t know everything.

Some things ..yes.. common sense. But remember.. you can’t change stupid. If someone is TRULY ignorant, they will remain truly ignorant until they decide otherwise – or maybe it’s genetics and no amount of smart fairy dust will save them.

In any case, tough love does NOT always work on every person. Or it may just take some time. I’ll admit I was (and still am) pretty ignorant to healthy eating. I knew the generals of fruits and veggies and laying off the sugar.. but I am still learning new things that some may laugh at and say “I knew that since 3rd grade dumbasz!”

There are also some people who’s ADD gets the best of them and they don’t think to look for an article before asking the same question that’s been asked a thousand times.

Bottom line.. I’m sick of seeing everyone who THINKS they know it all, just because they know more then someone else. What happened to being able to be honest and be yourself but TEMPER it when the TIME IS RIGHT? I must have missed the memo about everyone hopping on the holier-then-jesus short bus and forgetting what it's like to be kind every once in a blue moon.

This post wasn’t as articulate as I’d hoped it would be and it is much more polite then I originally intended. Proud of myself …that means I’m growing up!
