Weekends are hard

On the weekends I eat 1350-1400 calories instead of the 1200-1350 calories I eat during the week. These 15 pounds are going to take forever to lose. Food is everywhere. So hard.

You're eating about 150 extra for 2 days so 300 total. Can you compensate by reducing you're caloric intake on the other days or increasing your activity level, or try a combination of both?

Retired is harder because every lousy day is a weekend. I'm pleased to have accumulated a collection of cardio exercise equipment that I can use any time of day or night to distract my mind because I need to do so quite often.8

Or you can look at it like this: Weight maintenance is going to take forever. Food is everywhere, such a blessing, I can eat enough and well every day, and even pick my favorites for every meal. In return for that privilege, it's my responsibility to choose some nutritious food, and not consistently overeat.11

Those extra few calories at the weekend are hardly going to make a difference, sounds like you're being impatient2 -
You won’t gain weight off the 300 extra calories you eat on the weekend. If it really bothers you, can you get steps in, go for walks between meals?1

Even if you're only set to 0.5lbs per week (which is the rate of loss you can about expect with 15lbs to lose) that's a deficit of 1750 calories per week, eating your 300 or so at the weekend just means you'll lose a tiny bit slower and you'd be in a deficit of 1400 calories instead.
I am willing to bet though that you're not set at 0.5lbs per week and you're eating more on weekends because you're hungry from having too high a deficit?3 -
It kind of does feel like forever when trying to lose weight so maybe adjust your expectations, I started off with a goal to lose 15lbs and it took me 7 months. When you don't have much to lose 0.5lb a week is a good aim. Your calories sound low enough unless you are sedentary and petite.0

Sat.and sunday I only eat 2 meals instead of 3 during the week. I eat late in the morning and have dinner no later than 6:00 on weekends. Feels like I'm getting more. I do leave room for a snack at night though.
Change up mealtimes on the weekend.0
