Is it that easy to lease weight, just eat fewer calories than you burn? It sounds like there should be more too it. Like it should be combined with diet, right?
It is that simple (not necessarily easy ). Of course, what you eat can make it easier or harder to stick to your calorie goal. And what you eat can positively or negatively affect your health in other ways. But weight loss/gain/maintenance comes down to calories.
This is a good point. Calories are the only thing that count but a varied diet with a good mix of macros sometimes makes it easier just for satisfaction and fullness. But as everyone is telling you calories are what make you gain or lose weight.
