Overate...but still hungry?

This hasn't happened to me before, and I'm a few months in and almost halfway to my goal... My calories are 2500 a day to lose 2 lbs a week (roughly). I'm typically a water (or a couple beers) kind of guy but today I was feeling a sugary soda and a rather large lunch. I tracked it all in my log as accurately as possible and at the end of the day (after exercising/burning roughly 850 calories) I'm still 477 calories over my 2500.

I feel hungry for some reason, almost to the point of my stomach growling?? Lmao. But, I'm looking at the screen... Close to 500 calories in the red here. Contemplating and rather confused. Do I go outside and try to burn the rest off? Do I just eat something and get further in the red? Then burn it off before bed?

I don't understand what's going on. Is it because I ate such a huge meal so early and now my body naturally wants more at this time of the day? Obviously, I could probably just eat something and go to bed and ignore it - I know it's not the end of the world.

Just confused. This happen to you guys?

(By the way, I drink over 10 glasses of water everyday so I don't think it's not drinking enough).


Oh---and to add, my calorie intake yesterday was normal at 2500.
