Joint Supplements For Knee Pain

I'm getting ready to start Insanity in a few days here, and after giving it a two week trial run a while ago, I know I'm asking for some knee pain in the near future. I already have joint pains and I was looking for a joint supplement at a reasonable cost. I'm going to do some research on the internet, but if any of you have personally experienced results from a joint supplement I'd love to hear about it!
I'm looking for something that is reasonably priced, as well. I went to GNC today and they wanted me to buy a month supply of something for $80. I'm not looking to spend that much money, especially if I'm not sure if it will even work for me.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have, and have a rockin' day!

No studys have shown that these things actuallly work. (talking about chondroiten, etc). A good multivitamin plus calcium is all the supplement you need.
While inital studies looked promising, later ones show minimal benefit.
