Feeling very alone on this journey

Ok this last week I decided to finally set some mini goals for myself to help me reach my overall goal a little faster and give me something else to look forward to. So why is that everything seems against me? I amped up my workout schedule to go more frequently, decided to go in the mornings as well since I have heard that jump starts your metabolism and I even told my boyfriend what my goals were so that I would be accountable for it. Even though immediately I had the desire to eat junk food, probably cause I knew I wouldn't allow myself to for awhile, I resisted and I haven't missed a workout I haven't lost anything. To top it off and the real reason for my frustration (and venting session...sorry) is that my boyfriend decides to want to go to the bars for the last two nights in a row, I even resisted this temptation knowing I was going to be waking up early and didn't need any empty alcohol calories. So he comes home at about 3am each night and wakes me up causing me to over sleep and having to do my work out after work, now I am exhausted and losing motivation. Please help, how do I get my drive back? And how do I nicely tell him that he is being very counter productive for me?

Simple, explain this is your plan and you need his support. You have to give in some but let him know that it is your health and you need to take care of yourself. i have to deal with a family of 3 grown men who really don't care. They just always want all the foods I try not to eat. It is a challenge but you have to stand your ground sometimes.
  • Thank you I really appreciate the encouragement. We all do have obstacles to overcome this is true
