What type of suggestions are you looking for? Rest and get better.

Keto flu isn't actually the flu. Especially if you have respiratory symptoms, you are actually sick and need to rest. Keto flu I believe is usually feeling achy and fatigued with difficulty concentrating, and what I've seen recommended is more fluids and salt. Hopefully someone who's done keto will be by shortly!2 -
Awww thank you for that, so I actually have the flu.. 🤦🏽♀️3

Flu season started early this year. Check your temperature.0

Keto flu is cramps, headaches, some people get rashes, insomnia

Yeah it's not really the flu. Mostly dizzy, aches, headaches, etc, not everything you've mentioned.0

Ketoaid. Bottle of water, potassium salt, and your choice of water flavoring. A few bottles throughout the day every day. You could try bouillon cubes with or without water. A few teaspoons of pickle juice. Get a multivitamin supplement and take daily. Also get magnesium and take daily. Most important thing is to get the magnesium and potassium in to get your electrolytes up. That is what saves me.
Keto "flu" is not the flu. CNG24 got it right with her list. I only had a problem with it 1 day in my first week because I wasn't getting the electrolytes I needed. It is just electrolyte management.0 -

Im going to say while its probably the regular flu,for me when I did keto even though I was doing it correctly I felt like I had a severe case of the flu(sans the fever and respiratory issues). I was getting worse as time went on. no matter how much potassium, magnesium and sodium I was getting I was still feeling worse and worse. I didnt have the flu(was tested for it and all were negative) so symptoms will vary person to person. just rest and keep an eye on how you feel over the next few weeks and if nothing improves it could be your body just cant handle keto(mine cant)0 -
Everybody is different. My boyfriend and I experienced the "flu" our first week and potassium and magnesium was what we lacked. He felt like crap, drank a ketoaid and was fine within 30 minutes to an hour. Me, it takes me an entire day to recover when I don't get enough potassium and magnesium in. If it is an electrolyte imbalance, those suggestions should work. It is at least a starting point to try. No remedy will definitively work for everyone.0

If you absolutely must supplement potassium without a doctor's supervision, be very careful. You probably don't know how much potassium you're actually eating because it isn't required to be listed on nutrition labels and it is very easy to reach a dangerous overdose level of potassium.0
