Question about making recipe

I was trying to create a recipe and it did not give the option of "container." The serving sizes were .5 and servings of 16 so I added that data into the recipe with the item instead. Will this work on getting the calorie addition correct?

    you just set number of servings, not serving size. that way if you end up with 9 cups or 7 cups you get 1/16 of the total ingredients that were basis for calories.
