    Make gradual habit changes that are sustainable. Set weekly goals that are behaviour based and review with an accountability partner.

    It doesn't have to be a struggle. Start tracking what you eat (use a scale, weigh in grams) and stick to your calorie goal. Then be patient. While you wait, do some reading on the message boards.

    That's because you aren't taking it seriously. It's really very simple. Eat less, move more - any way you like, but for real, consistently and for a long time.
