Water sloshing in abdomen during workout?

I've been doing a lot of HIIT workouts lately that require a lot of jumping movements. Sometimes, even if I haven't taken in any water in awhile, I have this loud water sloshing noise coming from my stomach and it makes me feel sick to my stomach to work out.
Does anyone else have this? I thought it was because I was drinking so much water, but it happened today after not drinking anything for over 4 hours. What gives?

UUUUUUGGGGGHHHH slosh belly is the WORST. The only advice I can give you is to hydrate consistently throughout the day, then don't drink anything (or just very little) 1-2 hours before working out. I used to get it all the time when I was running outside in the summer. Sometimes I'd have to stop for a minute or two and walk to let my stomach settle. The feeling is so disturbing that it just throws me off completely.
As for what happened today, I have no idea. I hope it was a fluke, for your sake.0 -
Occasionally I experience that while I'm running, if I haven't eaten recently. I don't normally feel sick, it just feels strange and the noise is audible to people around me. Personally, I think it's kind of funny. But if it bothers you, I might suggest eating something closer to when you work out (maybe 45 minutes beforehand?). Are you hungry while this is occurring? Have you recently started eating less?
From my (extremely lay-person) perspective, I wouldn't expect it to be water sloshing around. People consume lots of water while exercising and it doesn't lead to what you're describing, right?0
