Low sodium meals

I have high blood pressure and I'm trying to fit my low sodium diet in my calories for the day. Foods that are low/no sodium seem to have little calories so it's hard to make my calorie goal if I'm eating low sodium too. I would love to just stay in my calories and eat lean cuisines every day, but the sodium is too high. Any ideas for filling low/no sodium meals?

IMHO the key to eating low sodium is to eat more whole food. Veggies, fruits, whole grains, meat and fish, unsalted nuts, eggs, etc. It's convenience foods that have more potential for being high sodium.3

Aren't you supposed to cook more from scratch?2

Yeah, lots of vegetable and fresh protein.
Nuts, raw. Fruit. Rice or corn meal instead of breads. Basic fresh, whole foods cooked at home.2
