Barbell weight and body weight exercising questions

I’m a beginner to weights. I spent the past year learning to eat healthy, exercise and lose weight (43lbs). I recently gained about 10lbs back but that’s ok. I’ve decided to spend this next year focusing on weights, strengthening, and toning.
Is there a method to the madness? Meaning, should barbell weight exercises be done first? Then body weight exercises? Can I intermingle them in the same routine? How long should a routine last (minutes per day)?
I’ve tried to do as much research as possible before starting this. I’ve even created my own home gym with a treadmill, rowing machine, punching bag, weight bench with barbell/135lb of weights, dumbbells, bicep curler, leg extension, lateral pull down unit, etc.
I’ve also learned (through research and reading) to not exercise the same muscles everyday to give them a rest. A warm up and stretching is essential and changing up the routine periodically helps also.
What are the rights and wrongs of an exercise routine involving barbell weights and body weight exercises? Help please, thanks!

Do an internet search for several routines, find one you think you'd like and try it. I use StrongLifts 5x5. there are many.1

Thanks. I’ve been trying to do that and I’m either looking in the wrong place or for the wrong thing. Just haven’t found what I’m looking for, or I’m finding sites that are trying to sell me something.0
