I am also a beer drinker. Not one who buys a case of some cheap crap every friday, but I love a nice, usually dark, flavorful beer. I don't drink a lot, but when I do I want it to be quality. To allow myself this treat, I simply work it into my calorie intake for the day, and add a couple of glasses of water (per beer) to that day's intake. This isn't going to work for someone who wants to drink a /lot/, but if you really like beer (and I mean *beer* not bud light) then it should work for you.

you are so much better than me.

Weekend (beer) warrior here. It was a little more difficult but, I also switched to Miller 64. Decent taste, 64 calories....still tastes watered down though but, ya gotta do whatcha gotta do

On the weekend I usually treat myself with a bomber bottle of some good, strong craft beer. I hate the watered-down, mass-produced stuff. The rest of the week it's all clean eating and clean drinking (no alcohol).

I'd rather fit beer into my macros like I do for everything else. That means I want something that tastes good, and I'll consume it in moderation, but I'm not sacrificing flavor under any circumstances.

That said, Guinness and Yuengling Black & Tan are good choices if you want to moderate calories but still have flavor. Of course, I mainly drink IPAs, so I have to carefully plan around them as they're definitely not low calorie.

Oh my f#+%*}kng goodness! Guinness and Yuengling? :drinker: note to self the next time hubby and I go on vacation because we can't get Yuengling here.

I love beer, but I usually only have one or two. I also like various mixers, gin&tonic, scotch&diet coke. If you drink a lot that would be bad, but I'm not giving it up. I just work it into my goals. :)
